How it works.
A supported key press animates a key and adds a character to a short text buffer drawn on the screen. Backspace removes a character and Enter clears the line. Switching power changes the indicator and runs a screen-collapse or expansion animation.
Trace a key press
Type a short word and watch the matching keys move and the characters appear. Compare the visible character count with the text.
Edit the buffer
Press Backspace to remove the last character, then Enter to clear the line. Observe that this changes text rather than running a program.
Switch the display off and on
Press Escape or click the case. Compare the indicator and screen animation in the off and on states.

About this model
- This demonstrates input, character display and power-state responses. It does not emulate CPU execution, an operating system or real CRT circuitry.
- The original accepts supported keyboard characters and limits the line to 20 characters. Enter clears the line; it does not execute a command. Screen effects are visual animation.
Use the input field below the scene for up to 20 supported characters, or choose Type HELLO. Clear empties the text, Power toggles power and Reset restores the starting state. You can also focus the scene and type, or click its drawn keys.
